Come to Kansas’ Premier All-Breed Horse Fair and Exposition in Salina, KS at the Tony’s Pizza Events

Center (TPEC) and Saline County Expo Center (SCEC) in the heart of the Smoky Hills!

The Kansas Horse Council presents EquiFest of Kansas, one of the largest trade shows in the Midwest.

With events in two operating arenas throughout the 3 days, you will find non-stop entertainment

featuring world class clinicians, demos & competitions.

Despite a slow planning start, thanks to Covid, you are sure to be wowed like any other year! Come see

the Giants- Draft horses competing in Feed Team races, obstacles, and a cultivator race! Watch light

horses and ponies do agile and speedy work with cart clinics and a Driving Derby. Check out the always

loved Friesians and Gypsies along with the Paso Finos and some Appaloosas, which have not been with

us in a while, in this year’s Breed Showcase.

Also, check out a couple of the standing stallions who are donating a breeding service in the Kansas

Horse Council Stallion Breeding Auction!

Wander through the stall barn and out behind to see horses all around. There are more exhibits in the

stall barn and the Fort Riley Commanding General’s Mounted Color Guard too! They’ll have an

historic encampment on display. Come see the breed groups- Gypsies, Friesians, Paso Finos & Appaloosas, meet their horses and see

some decorated stalls. Visit more vendor exhibits along the west wall of the stall barn. Next to the stall barn in Barn 2, on Friday and

Saturday, you can catch the farrier competition going on while they heat and bend raw metal and form horseshoes.

As always you won’t want to miss some of the best ranch hands in the Midwest compete for the title of EquiFest Champions during

the ever-popular Ranch Rodeo Friday and Saturday nights!

This year’s workshops will provide both entertainment & education! Come talk with Tom & Pat Seay with Best of America By

Horseback who can honestly claim to have one of the longest running programs on RFD TV! Do you have a heart for helping others?

Then you might be interested in Equine Assisted Therapy for sufferers of Post Traumatic Stress. Whether you are already in the field

as a practitioner or you are considering this as a possibility, there will be two workshops-one for each! Need some good ole self-time?

Learn how Lisa Stewart found her self-time and found herself on a fascinating journey covering 500 miles in one trip and 3,000 miles

in another by horseback. Meet Jerry & Cyndi Nelson of Crooked Creek Mule Jumping and learn more about the sport of mule

jumping. Of course, we can’t forget to mention the Legendary Kansas Horsemen’s Panel back for the 2nd year! Hear stories from

Hall of Famers, Dr. Stan O’Neil, Mark Gratny & Jerry Riemann talking about their experiences in making history! Workshop rooms

are conveniently located upstairs above the main lobby of Tony’s Pizza Events Center!

But that is not all! Find more on stage in the 4H building with Better Horses Network and friends. Listen to some cowboy poetry and

singing, along with storytelling and laughs. The Kids’ Corral and the KHC Foundation Silent Auction will also be happening in this

location!

Shopping? Heritage Hall, TPEC arena concourse and the 4H building are the places to shop to get anything a horse lover wants or

needs with wall-to-wall vendors! Plus, check out more displays in the stall barn and see the horses up close and personal!

You will find everything from tack to trailers, clothing to art, jewelry to boots, and home décor to barn décor! Plenty of food will be

available with concessions inside the Tony’s Pizza Events Center Arena and the outside Food Trucks to satisfy any food craving! Find

gourmet burgers, some yummy homestyle comfort foods, a little Jamaican twist and American fare with flare. Kettle Corn too!

Places to sit and eat your food are available all around. You can take your food anywhere at EquiFest, find a seat, eat, and enjoy the

happenings.

There is a special Grand Finale planned in the TPEC Arena on Sunday afternoon that will sum it all up! Don’t miss this horse lover’s

3-day event, Equifest of Kansas, proudly brought to you by Kansas Horse Council.
