Clydesdale

High Limit Farm Clydesdales, LLC present the Clydesdale draft breed originated in Scottland and spread across the world in the late 1700’s and early 1800’s as a working animal. In 1975, the population of the Clydesdale breed dropped to near extinction. Clydesdales are making a comeback now and moved to “watch” status in America. Less than 600 horses are registered annually, and it is estimated that fewer than 5,000 exist worldwide. The growing popularity supported by Budweiser Hitch and others promoting this draft breed through showing, driving, and even events like barrel racing and dressage are helping grow the numbers.
