Ranch Rodeo

The Friday night performance at the 2018 EquiFest will be the ever popular ranch rodeo.  The competition is tough and exciting. Entries from several surrounding states come to compete at Equifest for prizes and bragging rights as to who is the best at what they do every day. This gives the spectator an insight into the life of the everyday ranch cowboy and the things he or she does on a daily basis to make a living. From roping, riding, and working together to bring home the beef. The grand stands fill up early, and the teams are different each day, so you don’t want to miss this one! Judging this year’s event is Mr. Brad Lund, our clinician and Kansas Professional Working Cow Horse Cowboy! Also don’t miss the “halftime” performance by Mr. Bobby Kerr with his amazing Mustang Act! And, you’ll love the antics from our in-town rodeo clown, Mr. Dave “Showtime Meyer”! There will also be a Raffle Benefit for the Kansas Horse Council Foundation Scholarship during the rodeo! For Team Entry Information Please Contact: Tom Frey, tom@cbyboots.com or by phone at 913-626-4202.
