Please note, after February 2nd, volunteer opportunities may no longer be available as it’s first come first serve basis. One shift provides free wristband for day. T-shirts also provided.
Volunteer: General needs, willing to do anything anywhere! May include banner hang, banner take down, load in/load out, hall monitor, booth monitor, unlimited opportunities. Kansas Horse Council: Members assist in representing Council, answering questions regarding Council, Foundation and Equifest Kansas Horse Council Foundation: Members assist in manning the silent auction area, may also assist in the Heritage Hall Cowboy Poetry and Art Gallery area, representing Council, answering questions regarding Council, Foundation and Equifest Vendors: Assisting with Load In and Load out on set up and tear down days, during event checking vendors needs for bathroom breaks or food run Hospitality: Assisting with set up and clean up and restock of food and beverages for volunteers, vendors, clinicians, may deliver food/beverages as needed Security: Assisting with safety and compliance and traffic flow at entry points, in parking lot, in stall barn, in vendor areas Workshop: Assisting with any set up needs, signage needs Clinicians: Assisting with hospitality needs, facilitating schedule maintenance, runner for special requests or clinic equipment Special Demos/Breed Showcase: Assisting with equipment moving needs or communication needs, assisting with crowd guarding in transitions, assisting with hospitality needs. Ranch Rodeo: Assisting with equipment needs, assisting with directions at check in of teams, assisting with load/unload of cattle Arena Coordinator: Assisting arena coordinator with communications needs or physical equipment moving needs, set up and tear down of jump equipment and mounted shoot and top horse equipment. Landon Arena: Assisting Arena coordinators as needed Domer Arena: Assisting Arena coordinators as needed Kansas Farm Bureau Kiddie Corral: Assisting in operations of room, education and entertainment of young attendees Stall Barn: Assisting Stall Barn Coordinators as needed Decorating: Assisting with set up and tear down as needed Operations: Assisting Logistics and Operations as needed, facilitating traffic flow and communications, being a runner as needed Horse Judging: Assisting with providing halter type mares/geldings for judging competition, horse handlers, gate keepers, traffic flow, time monitors, general assist as needed Vet Services: Assisting on site vet staff by providing directions to horse owners at vet check in, being an available runner as needed, facilitating communications as needed
